Today we are pleased to announce Tri County Metals has been recognized as one of only 13 companies in the state of Florida to achieve certification in the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). This program is designed to recognize employers with outstanding safety and health management systems and compliance with OSHA’s high standards.
Small business employers who are awarded SHARP certification operate exemplary safety and health programs. To achieve this certification, Tri County Metals worked with OSHA to identify and implement best practices designed to protect employees from all safety and health hazards in the workplace. The process of achieving SHARP certification creates a better working environment, boosts team member morale through engagement in a health and safety culture, improves communication, and encourages safety in the community.
